Spring is always a very exciting time of year here at The Training Depot! As we begin planning for student profile updates, vision and hearing screenings, evaluations, Spring Break, Spring Programs, Granduation, and our exciting Summer Program, we will have a wealth of news and information to share with you. Please keep a watchful eye on our emails, any notes sent home, and our ever-changing information monitor outside the daycare office. • QUARTERLY SUPPLY FEES ARE DUE THIS MONTH!
  Please add $25 to your tuition for this month. The quarterly supply fee covers supplies needed in the classrooms including but not limited to baby wipes, cups, napkins, crafts, and paints! As always, your support is greatly appreciated!

• 2011 Childcare Tax Statements
  Your 2011 childcare tax statements are now available in the daycare office. Please stop by, at your convenience, and we would be happy to provide it to you.

• Our "monthly activities" featured in the calendar to the right are actually enrichment activities done in addition to the scope and sequence of our adopted curriculum taught from ages two through pre-k.  Training Depot uses the Abeka Curriculum first and foremost.  We supplement with Frog Street Press and Zoo Phonics.  Our classrooms are very structured and follow daily schedules that provide the children with opportunities to explore, discover, and grow in mind, body and spirit. 

• Mondays are our "visual arts" days. On Mondays, the children will enjoy a hands-on craft or art project that supports the weekly theme and lesson. Tuesdays are our "problem solving" days. On Tuesdays, the children will enjoy a math or science based project or experiment that will encourage their curiosity! Wednesdays are spent focusing on language arts with the Word of God. Wednesday are Chapel day and offer the children an opportunity to learn and grow in Christ. Thursdays are exciting days at Training Depot! Thursdays are dedicated to "physical education" as the children enjoy Stretch 'N' Grow class! Fridays are dedicated to "reflection" as the children reflect upon the week and engage in exciting opportunities such as "show & tell" or thematic dress up! 

  We also offer a music class, taught by our children's minister, Chapel Services, Spanish class, and Stretch & Grow class.  These additional classes are included in the weekly tuition rates.

• BAD WEATHER POLICY - Please be advised that Training Depot will close for inclement weather based on the decision of Crowley ISD.  You may also check our website for closing information in the event of inclement weather.
  
• Training Depot now offers computer classes for ages 2 - pre-k!  These classes are taught by PC Kidz. Please stop by the office for more information!
  

• Visitors & Tours for Prospective Families: We love visiting with prospective families and consider it a blessing when we can give you our most undivided attention and assistance.  Our best time for tours and enrollment is between 10:00am and 2:00pm.
