Celebration Ministries are the praise and worship ministries here at FWF. These ministries
are made up of the
- choral
- instrumental
- drama
- and audio/visual departments within our local congregation.
The Celebration Singers are the adult choir/praise team at FWF. The Singers are a vital part of our praise and worship experience because we lead the congregation each week to the throne of God. The Singers are heavily involved in each service and provide the majority of “special” music.
We rehearse on SUNDAY EVENINGS from 5:30-7:00pm in the rehearsal room. On Sundays we meet in the rehearsal room at 10:20am to prepare for our worship experience.
The Celebration Singers require a very high level of commitment. Each member is expected to faithfully attend rehearsals and services. No audition is required.
The Celebration Instruments are the praise band here at FWF. The Instruments are also a vital part of our worship atmosphere because they accompany our Singers and our praise and worship times.
The Instruments are comprised of a Rhythm section and Horn section. The Rhythm section is made up of keyboards, guitars, bass, drums and percussion. The Horn section is made up of brass and wind instruments.
Celebration Instrumentalists must be able to read music at a high school level of proficiency and have a teachable spirit. Each member is expected to faithfully attend rehearsals and services. The instruments rehearse Wednesday Night’s at 8:05.
We are currently in the beginning stages of starting a Drama Ministry here at FWF. As you know drama is just another way to communicate the Message.
Our future goals are to have drama vignettes during our services, dinner theatre programs and A full Easter production.
Our Audio/Visual Department is always looking for skilled people in the areas of sound, lighting, computers, or graphics. These folks work behind the scenes to make sure your worship experience is special.
