Rev. Nate Cook, Youth Pastor, Fort Worth First Church of the Nazarene with wife Paula

Rev Nate Cook

Youth Pastor

Nate Cook, pictured with wife Paula, joined the staff at Fort Worth First in May of 2004. Nate is a Texas native who grew up in the Fort Worth area. Nate graduated from Southern Nazarene University in 1995. While at SNU he met his wife, Paula. Nate and Paula have been married for nine years and have 2 boys, Nathan (5) and Tyler (4). Nate served as a full-time youth minister in Hutchinson, KS and Midwest City, Oklahoma before arriving at FWF.

In his free time Nate likes to play sports like basketball, volleyball, golf, football, and most team sports. He also enjoys music. He likes to sing, play guitar, and drums. Nate loves to snowboard, especially when Paula is able to go skiing with him. Nate also loves to date his wife, and have guy’s night with his boys on Mondays. He also loves to watch Texas Longhorn Football. He loves the fact that Texas has won 19 more Texas/OU games than Oklahoma has. Nate may be the only man at Fort Worth First that does not enjoy hunting…

Nate’s style of youth ministry is highly relational. He is a firm believer that faith is more often “caught than taught”. He strives to be the type of youth minister that leads by example and models authentic faith to students.
